The Barcelona Pavilion designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe
is known for its simple form and its choice of materials that expresses a
simple and constant form. Its supported by thin columns showing features of
minimalism.
The Rudin House by Herzog & de Meuron evokes a typical image of a house. Its external appearance has all the features of a common home; i.e. roof, door, windows and walls.
The House at Bordeaux by Rem Koolhaas is a house that is based around technology. This moving and simple yet complex building was built for a paralysed client.
